Ear Stretching Spirals are used to stretch piercings such as the earlobe, this increases the gauge (size) of the piercing. A Spiral is a specific type of ear stretcher, it is called a spiral due to it's shape which spirals around and is wider at one end than the other. The narrow end is inserted into the piercing and then slowly over a period of time the spiral is slid further into the piercing, widening it. Spirals are available in PMMA acrylic and Organics such as horn and wood. They usually come in gauges from 2mm to 12mm gauge (US 12g to 1/2"). For help with sizing please read our Sizing Guide. Please read our Body Jewellery Guide if you need more information about ear stretching.
